George Christoforou
Chairman, Executive member

Finance professional with a large tenure as an insolvency practitioner. George Christoforou has accumulated an all-around operational and financial restructuring experience and has managed several Corporate Finance and Turnaround projects while being a Senior Manager of Kantor Management Consultants CFA team. He possesses a deep understanding of the Banking industry, having served for almost 2 years as Sanctioning Manager in Greece and for almost 7 years as CEO for the Bank of Cyprus in Romania. Following his tenure in the banking system, he acquired solid experience in Portfolio Reviews and participated as Advisor in the sale tenders of significant portfolios in Greece and Romania. In parallel, he had advised certain Banks during the Asset Quality Review project of the four systemic institutions in Greece (ECB stress test), while subsequently managed the Loans Portfolio Review of the Cooperative Banks of Greece. Ηe also led the portfolios’ recoveries in the Greek Special liquidation entity as a General Manager. He holds a BSc and MSc from the City University (London) and an MBA from the London Business School.


Vyronas Vyronos

Managing Director

Experienced Banker that worked with Bank of Cyprus PLC for more than 33 years. Last position held was “Director SMEs” and previously Regional Manager, “Retail & SME” Nicosia Region. Vyronas has extensive experience and specialization in “Debt Restructuring, Recovery and Property Onboarding’ and was heavily involved in the onboarding of the “Laiki Bank”, non-performing portfolio and the reorganization of the Recoveries Division in 2013. He worked closely with external recruits, (directors and advisors) to drive a new culture and to reorganize the division! Recruited in 2021 to set up the “Association of Cyprus CACs & Services”, Vyronas helped establish the foundations for association’s presence and active voice in the country’s economy. Serves voluntarily as Board member of Cyprus Anticancer Society since 2018.
